Bolly-Kathak Beginner Level
Inspired by Devdas & Umrao Jaan, our Bolly-Kathak course is a semi-classical dance style which explores the classical foundations of Kathak whilst learning a choreographed semi-classical routine. Suitable for all levels!
9 weeks: 24 September – 19 November 2025*
*NO CLASS 22 October (8 sessions over 9 weeks)
Time: Wednesdays 7.10pm (1 hour session) *Final class on 19 Nov will be 2 hour video shoot (7.10 – 9.10pm)

Teacher –Ida Ghatge With over 18 years of dance experience, Ida is a Kathak dancer who trained under guru Shri. Harish Gangani. She also attended the Terence Lewis Dance Academy in Mumbai, and later moved to Melbourne where she completed her Honours in Psychology at Melbourne Uni. An experienced performer, Ida has graced the stage across India, Europe and Australia. Ida currently performs with Sapphire Dance as a Bollywood & Kathak dancer-choreographer.
